Volunteers are a valuable resource for the Toy Sale.
Drop off Day is usually the Monday prior to the Toy Sale. This is our city wide collection day held in the back parking lot of Heritage Baptist Church. Faith Radio joins us in promoting the need for toys and where to drop them off. The Kings Table Catering has blessed us on the cold days with enough hot chocolate for everyone stopping to donate toys and our volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help collect the toys and at the end of the day to relocate them to our designated storage room.
Preparation Day begins on Thursday prior to the Toy Sale. Volunteers are needed to transport the toys from the storage room into Heritage Baptist Church‘s Family Life Center. The toys are organized, priced and staged according to age appropriateness. The welcome center, wrapping stations and cafe are setup at this time as well.
Many volunteers are needed on the day of the sale. From registration, to welcome center carolers, shopping buddies, table stockers, greeters, prayer warriors, gift wrappers, deliverers, clean up crew, and volunteer & hospitality room monitors.
