Missionary Care Network
The MBA has identified the many missionary church planters and evangelists in the River Region that are identified with their Sending churches. A list is available for churches to seek ways to pray and provide for the needs of these serving so faithfully.
City of Refuge
The MBA provides ministry, encouragement, and housing for those pastors and families who may have found themselves without a place of ministry and homeless due to the loss of the pastorium. This healing and restoration ministry assist the families until they can regroup with other means of provision and direction.
Sons of Nehemiah Leadership Residency
The MBA works to discover, develop, and deploy the called to carry out their ministry in churches and other works across the street and around the world. This hands-on mentorship guides the resident toward next steps that lead to his deployment. This service to the new called also works with local churches to provide appropriate pre-ordination preparation and education.
NAMB/IMB Missionary Pipelines
The MBA partners with their two significant SBC partners in missions to help call out the called in the River Region. The North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board lead the candidate toward full deployment, with the MBA and ALSBOM working with their sending churches.
Ministry Training Institute (MTI) Samford University /
New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) Extension
The MBA calls out the called by providing two healthy venues of education. The MTI provides a diploma service from Samford University. The NOBTS provides Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Studies for the more academic-minded from Southern Baptist’s premiere seminaries. Both are located in or near the MBA Mission Building in Montgomery.
River Region Collegiate Ministries
The MBA serves with the Autauga and Elmore Baptist Associations to provide a River Region Collegiate Ministry, in partnership with ALSBOM. This ministry provides encouragement and discipleship to students in the eighteen colleges/universities of Metro Montgomery, namely ASU and AUM.
